Pofessor Ren Wei of the university of California riverside successfully held the conference
2019-07-19 11:11

At June 14, 16: 00 pm, invited by the Innovation and Introduction Base of Marine Information Perception in Northwestern Polytechnical University and the Key Laboratory of Underwater Information and Control, Professor Ren Wei from University of California, Riverside conducted the "Distributed dynamic state estimation in sensor networks" in room 201 in the School of Marine Science and Technology. The report was hosted by Professor Wang Yintao.

Professor Ren Wei first introduced the background and significance of the research on distributed dynamic state estimation, and the wide application of this research in target tracking, area detection and regional surveillance under multi-agent networks. Then he put forward a distributed information fusion algorithm under the assumption that the agent only interacts with its neighbors. It realizes the tracking estimation of the target state through the interaction with the neighbors, and makes the estimation error covariance consistent. The upper bound, then the observability of the network is used to prove the stochastic stability of the algorithm. Finally, on the basis of theoretical research, the numerical and experimental demonstration of distributed dynamic state estimation problem under the proposed algorithm is given.

Professor Ren made a great discussion with teachers and students. This academic report has greatly broadened the students' research horizon, and benefited them a lot about their scientific research.
